HONORING OUR SACRED MIGRATIONS – MIGRACIONES SAGRADAS

This Year is Hollywood Forever’s 20th annual Dia de los Muertos celebration! It will be take place on Saturday November 2nd, 2019.

This year the theme is the Monarch Butterfly, that migrate every winter to the Mexican state of Michoacán.

Michoacán along with Oaxaca are two of the cultural corazones of Mexico, that this ancient traditions of Dia de los Muertos have been celebrated for centuries & most vibrantly.

The Monarch butterfly is a symbol selected this year to represent the Dreamers and Immigrants whose personal journeys echo the annual migrations the butterflies make between Mexico and the U.S.

If you didn't know the Monarch existence is pending inclusion on the Endangered Species list is also an urgent call to love and protect our shared earth.

I'm so excited to be celebrating the 20th Anniversary at Hollywood Forever, and  grateful to be apart of this beautiful migration of Dia de los Muertos from its homeland of Michoacán to the heart of Hollywood.
